Black Law Student Association Flag Display

In honor of Black History Month, Stetson’s Black Law Students Association (BLSA) is displaying 515 red flags in honor of the Black women and men whose lives were lost to police brutality in our country. In 2020-2021 alone, 515 Black lives were lost to police brutality. This memorial is a reminder of our shared commitment to social justice and police reform. Our informational yard signs placed among the flags, highlight the awareness BLSA is bringing to this campus about the racial disparities in police use of deadly force in this country.
