You are invited for an insightful presentation from Professor Catherine Smith, a Professor of Law with the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Professor Smith will discuss her scholarship around the historical and ongoing impacts of Brown v. Board of Education, particularly as “a children’s rights case that shattered the constitutional silence around caste-creation and the exploitation of Black and other underrepresented children”.

All Stetson Law community members are welcome, including those with interests in children’s rights and advocacy, constitutional law, education law, and scholarship on race/ethnicity and U.S. history.

Hosted in partnership with the Child Advocates of Stetson Law (CASL).
