Stetson’s 1L Mock Trial Competition – Results

The Annual 1L Mock Trial Competition was held over three days last weekend and included 96 competitors and 24 teams. After the preliminary rounds, the top four teams met in the semis. Both semi-final rounds were decided by 2 points or less. And in a close final round, the team of Nicole Janicki, Jennifer Kuramochi, Maria Lozonchi, and Natalie Noa came away with the championship with Natalie Noa named Best Advocate. The championship team was coached by Trial Team member, Bryan Lawlor. The finalists were Sophia Bond, Sean Klein, Riley Matthews, and John Whelan, coached by Trial Team members, Karighan Walker-Alicea and James Cox. Congratulations to the Champs, the Finalists, and to all the competitors for a great competition. And a special thanks to Hunter Perez and Cami DiGiacomo for their work in organizing and running the competition.
