Last Chance to Apply for the Equal Justice Works National Advisory Committee!
The deadline to apply for the Equal Justice Works National Advisory Committee has been extended to Monday, May 9 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
National Advisory Committee (NAC) members act as Equal Justice Works ambassadors within the law school and legal services communities. They provide strategic guidance to Equal Justice Works staff and assist with the implementation and evaluation of select initiatives to help us bridge the gap between law school and the public interest field.
The NAC is comprised of eight law students and eight law schools professionals, who serve staggered two-year terms. Serving on the NAC is a great opportunity to learn about and provide feedback on Equal Justice Works programs, and be directly involved in the strategic direction of our organization. Members also build relationships with others in their region to promote public interest opportunities and resources.
Equal Justice Works invites law students from the following regions: Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Pacific, and Southwest and law school professionals from the following regions: Gulf, Mid-Atlantic, and Pacific to apply. To see which schools are within the eligible NAC regions, visit our website here.
To be considered to represent your region on the NAC, you have through May 9 to submit your application. If you have any questions about the application process or would like to nominate someone, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].
