KCMBA Annual Heartland Diversity Legal Job Fair August 12-August 13
As the new director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association I am pleased to announce that this year we will be hosting in-person the Annual Heartland Diversity Job Fair (HDLJF) August 12, 2022 – August 13, 2022, here at KCMBA headquarters!
Below is a quick overview of events, how to register, and accommodations. We have also produced brochures and would be happy to mail to you, student affinity groups, and students directly.
- To register for the event, please visit law-kcmba.csm.symplicity.com/students. Please note that there is no fee for students to register.
- Early bird registration deadline is May 31, 2022.
- Registration forms are available in PDF format. Should you be aware of students who might need support accessing online registration, I am happy to help support them through the process.
- Student registration deadline is June 28, 2022.
Friday, August 12, 2022 — We will kick off the event with registration, a diversity panel discussion featuring some of Kansas City’s finest diverse legal professionals, and a welcome reception at KCMBA Headquarters. Registration will continue on Saturday.

Saturday, August 13, 2022 — The interview process will be conducted on a 50/50 scale. Employers will pre-select half of the students whom they wish to interview. The remaining half of the interview schedule will be filled based on lottery. All interviews will be conducted at KMBA.

Accommodations
HDLJF will have a limited number of hotel rooms at an area hotel reserved for students who reside more than 50 miles from Kansas City. Rooms will be $50, and are available on a first come, first served basis.
