Microsoft License Upgrade is Here!

Our new Microsoft License is now available, and our I.T. staff is hard at work updating all our accounts. Of note, the biggest change is the new Microsoft Teams Conferencing Support. This enhancement enables our Teams Meetings to support dial-in participants using a traditional phone. We will no longer require participants to use the Teams App to join a meeting.

Once your license is upgraded, you will receive an email from our system that will include the following information:

“You now have Audio Conferencing for Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business Online – Here is your dial-in information and PIN”

The next time you create a Team meeting, you will notice that the meeting invite will be quite different.

In addition to our Teams upgrade, you now have access to: Power BI Pro, Improved Data Loss Prevention (DLP) for Microsoft Teams and many more back-end enhancements.

This new license is available to all active faculty, staff and students.
