BIPOC Young People Leadership Summit 

The Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg is dedicated to the future success of BIPOC youth (ages 16-25) and they hope that you will consider joining them for the Dream in Black and Brown BIPOC Youth Leadership Summit to help identify existing and needed pathways to prepare BIPOC youth for leadership opportunities. The event will take place on October 20, 2022, from 8 am – 2 pm at the Center for Health Equity, located at 2333 34th St. S, St. Petersburg, FL 33711
This summit will include an overview of the work completed to date, opportunities to listen to youth, interactive learning experiences, and diverse inter-generational ideation to ensure maximum community input. Participants will also have the opportunity to listen to the keynote speaker, Dr. Michael Eric Dyson.

8:30 AM — Check-in; networking time; book signing; Continental breakfast
9:10 AM — To Dream Presentation-youth presentation, young people’s panel discussion
10:00 AM — Dr. Michael Eric Dyson- Keynote Speaker- presentation, discussion, and Q&A
11:00 AM — Separate breakout groups for young people and seasoned leaders led by nationally 
renowned facilitators: Dr. Sheron Brown, Dr. Vanessa Jenkins, Dr. Stanley Andrisse, and Mr. Carl Lavender Jr.
12:15 PM — Facilitation summaries and next steps
12:30 PM — Continue networking, vendor presentations
1:30 PM — Lunch
