Hispanic Bar Association (HBA) and Immigration Law Student Association (ILSA) are collaborating with the USF Minorities in Pre-Law (USF MPL) organization to set up this mentorship connection between our local campuses. As Stetson Law is USF’s local law school, we thought it a good idea that these two organizations form a partnership.

In addition to HBA and ILSA, Asian American Law Student Association (AALSA), Black Law Student Association (BLSA), and the Disability Allied Law Student Association (DALSA) will be co-hosting this on-campus event which will allow us to provide even more diverse representatives for the USF MPL students to interact with. The USF MPL students will be joining us the evening of Friday, February 17 from 6-8pm in the Great Hall to ask real law students what law school is really like. Any and all Stetson Law student(s) are welcome to join us and share their experiences on what it is like to take the LSAT, to attend orientation, how attending law school compares to undergrad, etc.

HBA and ILSA also extend the invite to join us this evening to all other student organizations on campus, but especially those others that are minority/diversity-identifying Stetson Law student organizations and wish to share their stories, experiences, and wisdom to help the next generation of diverse students attend law school. Together, we lift each other up; Together, we make our voices heard.
