Follow the Footsteps of the Civil Rights Movement
The Civil Rights Movement Course is a condensed two-week course that examines the influence of the Civil Rights Movement on the legal system and our culture. In-person classroom instruction will take place on the Gulfport campus from June 12-16. Followed by a week of travel from June 18-25, where students have the opportunity to visit museums, institutes, universities, and historic sites as well as interact with advocates for social and racial justice. Students will visit 6 cities which include, Atlanta, Birmingham, Montgomery, Selma, Nashville, and Memphis.
