Congratulations, Dispute Resolution Board! 
This weekend, we had teams representing Stetson’s Dispute Resolution Board competing in Williamsburg, Virginia at the 2023 William & Mary Law School Negotiation Tournament and in Waco, Texas at the 2023 American Bar Association Client Counseling National Competition (having excelled at the regional competition and advanced to the national rounds). Both teams had wonderful results!
The William & Mary team was anchored by DR veterans Becca Weissman (team captain), LeOndra Strowbridge, and Blake Radford, and joined by Lauren Bishop, Barbara Gil, and Andrea Gwin, all three of whom were competing for the first time for DR. We had TWO teams (Becca & Andrea and LeOndra & Blake) advance to the semifinal rounds, which is a great result!
The Client Counseling Nationals team consisted of Grace Moseley and Rachel Esposito, both competing for the second time for Stetson. They represented us beautifully on the national stage, advancing to semifinals and then to the final round, where they were national runners-up! This is a huge accomplishment, and we are so proud of them!
Congratulations, teams, and a special thanks to coaches Professor Sheehan & Sy-Woei Hao (William & Mary team) and Emily Bollman (Client Counseling team). A special shout-out to DR alumna Gabriele Bodanza, who stepped in as travel coach and enjoyed a bit of deja-vu, as she and fellow alumnus Forest Sutton had been our most recent national finalists in client competition.
