Celebrate and Commemorate Juneteenth

2023 marks the 200th year celebration of the Emancipation Proclamation. The Emancipation Proclamation marked a major turning point in the hard-fought battle to end slavery nationwide. Black people, enslaved and free, held on to their humanity and fought for freedom.
