NBLSA Advocacy Board Competitions
NBLSA Advocacy Board Competitions
Each Year National Black Law Student Association brings together Black Law Student Association’s across the nation to compete in mock trials. The Black Law Student Association of Stetson would like to enter the Constance Motley Baker Trial Competition this academic year.
To compete in the Constance Motley Baker Trial Competition, you must satisfy the below:
- Good academic standing
- BLSA member (or join BLSA)
- Completed first-year curriculum
So, no prior experience with the trial team is needed. Our wonderful Advocacy Boards (Trial Team, Moot Court, and DR Board) will provide their very own coaches to prepare you for the competition. You will also have the opportunity to join Stetson’s Trial team upon completion of the competition.
Deadline to register for the competition is November 3, 2023.
For more details, please contact Stetson BLSA Advocacy Coordinators Kendra Maynard ([email protected]) and Shantanice Vaxter ([email protected])
The mission of NBLSA is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black and minority attorneys who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.
