Attention 1L students:

The Stetson Trial Team is preparing for the annual 1L Mock Trial Competition!

If you are interested in competing, please join us this Friday, November 17th from 2-3pm in the Eleazer Courtroom (first floor of the Advocacy Center) for an information session about the competition.

All attendees (in-person and virtual) must sign in using the link here.

If you are unable to attend Friday, signing in with the link will grant you access to a recording of the information session.

Learn the process of a trial, how to analyze a case, and develop your advocacy style and
skills!

Assemble a team of 4 advocates or sign up individually.

Deadline to sign up is Jan 12, 2024.

Absolutely no experience or history with mock trial is required to participate! Current Trial Team members will coach each 1L team to help every competitor learn and grow as an advocate. Additionally, if you are planning or thinking about trying out for Trial Team, or any of the advocacy boards, then this is one a great opportunity to develop your oral advocacy skills for the upcoming tryouts.
