Immigration Legal Pro Bono Opportunity
Lutheran Services Florida is seeking 4 pro bono volunteers for Spring 2024 to assist attorneys in providing immigration services in Hillsborough County. Interns will assist attorneys with a wide range of casework, including asylum applications, family-based petitions, naturalization/citizenship, employment authorization, and more. As an intern, you’ll draft memos, conduct legal research, assist with screenings and client appointments in-person at the Tampa office, and have many opportunities for client interaction and to collaborate with Stetson alumni. Applications will be accepted from 2L, 3L, and LL.M students. Fluency in one of the following languages is a plus but not required: Spanish, Arabic, Haitian Creole, Dari, and/or Pashto. While this opportunity is unpaid, all hours are eligible for legal pro bono credit.
