September Public Interest Newsletter Now Available!

The latest edition of the Public Interest Newsletter is here, packed with valuable information on pro bono, internship, and post-graduate opportunities in the public interest and public service fields.

Highlights in this September issue:

  • Returning Citizens Project (Pro Bono): Help “returning citizens” seek restoration of their voting rights in St. Pete (Sunday, 9/22 from 11:15-1:30 p.m. or Thursday, 10/3 from 4:45-7:00 p.m.)
  • Gulfcoast Legal Services: GLS has paid, part-time law clerk positions for students to work with clients who may be eligible for sealing and/or expunging their records, beginning this fall. Applications accepted on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged.  
  • Equal Justice Works Career Fair: Deadline to apply for prescheduled interviews is 9/12 at 5:00 p.m. EST. Summer internship and post-graduate opportunities available.
  • Immigrant Justice Corps: Apply for this 2-year, post-graduate fellowship by 10/20.
