FFLA Civil Legal Aid Summer Fellowship Application is now Open!
Funding Florida Legal Aid’s Civil Legal Aid Summer Fellowship application is now open. The program offers approximately 10 law students the opportunity to gain valuable legal experience at a qualified Florida non-profit legal aid organization for a 10-week full-time paid summer fellowship. Monetary stipends for students are $9,000.
- Participating Organizations: 15+ organizations are participating, including, Americans for Immigrant Justice, Bay Area Legal Services, Gulfcoast Legal Services (GLS)**, Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida, Southern Legal Services, Florida Justice Institute, Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, and more!

- Timeline: The application deadline is Nov. 1, and fellowship offers will be released in early December.
- Eligibility: Rising second-year and third-year law students (who have completed at least two semesters of law school) attending an accredited law school are eligible to apply provided they are in good standing with their law school.

Students must apply with FFLA directly to be considered, though they increase their chances of acceptance with GLS by indicating they have spoken with GLS before applying.
