Job Title: Center Fellow, Center for Elder Justice
Reports To: Director, Center for Elder Justice

Location: Stetson University College of Law, Gulfport Campus
Position Overview/Primary Purpose: To provide research and clerical support for the Center for Elder Justice.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Deliver up to 20 hours of research and clerical support for the Center each week, taking into account class schedule, student organization, or other responsibilities (if applicable). Recruit students for Center projects. Monitor supplies quantity, and notify Center Director when it is time to place an order for additional items. Maintain storage closet; keep in orderly fashion. Serve as campus runner for the Center. Assist with preparing materials for events, conferences, and competitions hosted by the Center. Serve as general assistant during events, meetings, and conferences hosted by the Center. Update/maintain departmental databases. Conduct legal research projects for Center purposes. Draft, edit, and cite-check works for publication. Compile and prepare reports. Word processing for various types of documents. Collect, sort and distribute mail. Print, copy, scan work. Filing and record-keeping. Performing other duties as assigned by the Center Director.
Qualifications:
Current JD student in their second or third year at Stetson Law. Must be able to multi-task, have excellent computer and telephone skills, and should be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Should be detail-oriented and demonstrate excellent follow through with ongoing projects. A high level of organization, flexibility, judgment and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to work as a positive team player. Should possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service skills and professionalism are a must. Works to build an environment that promotes and facilitates the success of Diversity and Inclusive Excellence. Ability to work flexible work schedule during; busy office periods, host events, etc.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook & Calendar, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
Work Environment and Special Considerations:
Work duties performed primarily in temperature controlled office, with frequent community interaction. Lifting occasionally up to 20 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
