DR Board Success at ABA Mediation Nationals! 

At the start of the semester, two teams of DR Board members competed at the regional ABA Representation in Mediation Competition hosted by Samford University, Cumberland School of Law. The teams—Daniel Smith & Sofia Santana and Whitney Ford & Alyssa Odom—advanced out of preliminaries ranked 1st and 2nd in a regional field of 20 teams. Daniel and Sofia won the competition and advanced out of finals. This past weekend, the all-star duo represented Stetson on the national stage at Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law. 

The top teams from four different regionals convened in California, and after the preliminary rounds, Daniel and Sofia advanced as the No.1 seed! The team concluded the competition as national semifinalists! We are so proud of our ABA Mediation team and their coach, Professor Amy Catledge. Please join us in congratulating this amazing team!
