Volunteers Needed: 40th National Veterans Golden Age Games – Community Service Opportunity
Volunteers Needed: 40th National Veterans Golden Age Games The Golden Age Games began in 1985 to underscore the preventive and therapeutic value of sports medicine for older Veterans who receive health care at VA facilities. The mission of “Fitness for Life” was to showcase for the rehabilitation value that sports, fitness, and wellness provide in the lives of Veterans ages 55 and beyond. Learn more about the games here. Step up and make an impact. As the National Veterans Golden Age Games celebrates its 40th year, more than 1,700 Veterans (ages 55+) will compete in 18 medal events—demonstrating the life-changing power of fitness, recovery, and community. They can’t do it alone and need dedicated volunteers to help bring this experience to life. From supporting events to assisting participants, your time will directly contribute to the health, confidence, and recognition these Veterans deserve.
