Advocacy Boards Tryouts Informational Meeting—Professional Identity Development at Its Best!
ABA Standard 303(b)(3) requires law schools to provide students with opportunities for professional identity development. One of the best ways to continue to develop the real-world lawyering skills you are learning is by being a member of one of our award-winning Advocacy Boards—Dispute Resolution, Trial Team, or Moot Court.
The Annual Advocacy Board Tryouts will take place after the spring exams, and to learn more about the tryout process, please join advocacy directors—Professor Adams (Dispute Resolution), Professor Donoghue (Trial Team), and Professor Bowman (Moot Court)—in the Great Hall on Tuesday, March 3, starting at 5:00 p.m. for the tryouts informational meeting. (Because the content of this presentation is so important, the meeting will be recorded.) We will talk about some of the skills you will learn and specifics about each Board’s tryout process.
In order to participate in the spring tryouts, you must have completed or be currently enrolled in R&W II, and must not graduate before May 2027.
