Applications are now open for the Summer 2022 TCDIP 1L Clerkship Program!

For over a decade, the TCDIP 1L Clerkship has helped launch the careers of law students of color in the Twin Cities.

TCDIP strengthens the legal talent pipeline with strategic partnerships between TCDIP Members from law firms and corporate legal departments. The TCDIP 1L Clerkship program was created to promote the Twin Cities legal community to 1L students of color from Minnesota and across the country. Highly qualified law students from racial and ethnic groups historically underrepresented in the legal profession are encouraged to apply.

This year TCDIP will have positions for 39 1L students. Applications are currently open, and many applications are accepted on a rolling basis! Many law firms will be starting their interview processes in the next few weeks, so it is advisable to apply by January 31! Each law firm has their own application process – we advise reading each job posting carefully and tailoring your application to suit the position.
