BAY AREA LEGAL SERVICES COMMUNITY OUTREACH – PRO BONO

Bay Area Legal Services will be conducting outreach at the George Edgecombe Courthouse on Tuesday, April 9 and April 16 from 9am-2pm. Student volunteers would help prospective Bay Area clients fill out an application for legal services and determine if they are income eligible. If the person applying is eligible for BALS services, the volunteers would then complete a statement of facts form inquiring about the facts of their legal matter. Students aren’t required to stay for the entire time, but at least two hours would be helpful. To sign up, contact David Gomez, at [email protected] with your availability and a copy of your resume.
