BECOME A RACIAL JUSTICE STUDENT FELLOW
The St. Pete Truth Racial Healing and Transformation (TRHT) Center is a collaborative unified in the cause to end racial hierarchies in our society. Our Racial Justice Fellows Program places students at the center of efforts that are focused on systemic change. Our goal is to create a pipeline for students to become involved in work related to antiracist policy and movements, and racial healing and transformation. By supporting our student fellows financially and programmatically, the St. Pete TRHT aims to cultivate a new generation of leaders who can help build a more just and equitable society. Students learn about shaping policy and systems through a racial justice lens, about mechanisms that enable racial healing, and they work on racial justice projects in our communities. The program requires up to 60 hours of time per semester and up to 120 hours for a part-time summer internship. Students will receive a stipend of $500/semester and a $1,000 stipend for the summer.
We welcome applications from students attending Stetson University College of Law, Eckerd College, USF St Petersburg, and St. Petersburg College who have a demonstrated interest in working on issues of racial justice and healing.
