Bookstore: Don’t forget to check in your rentals no later than 12/17!

Don’t forget to return or convert your rental books to a purchase at the Bookstore before you leave for Christmas break! Although the rental book check-in date is the last day of exams, December 14, you will have until Tuesday, December 17 to check your rental books in with no penalties. DECEMEBR 14 IS A SATURDAY, AND THE STORE WILL NOT BE OPEN. Please note the following for rental check in:

*Books must be checked in at the Bookstore during business hours only. Do not leave books outside the store or anywhere else on campus (unless previous arrangements have been made with Bookstore staff). Damaged rental books will be assessed at check in. Fees apply for damaged books.

*Your books can be checked in by a friend, roommate, family member, etc. with your name and phone number.

*You can mail your rentals into the store at your cost. All books must be received by the last day of check in to avoid fees.

*Rental period cannot be extended, as fees are automatically charged to your account once the books are considered overdue. Late and replacement fees, once charged are non-refundable.

*Holds are placed on student accounts (grades, schedule, etc.) once book return accounts are past the check in date.

*If you are wanting to keep a book, DO A CONVERT RENTAL TO PURCHASE AT THE STORE BEFORE DEC. 14. If you do not “convert to purchase” you will be assessed a late fee on top of a replacement fee if you keep a book.
