Career Fair: Know Before You Go

Experience the Stetson Law Career Fair on March 26, 2024, Sponsored by the Office of Career and Professional Development and the Student Bar Association along with our Campus to Career Sponsors. RSVP HERE

Things To Know Before You Go:

Over 50 employers are going to be present, looking for connections to 1L, 2L, and 3L for summer jobs, school year jobs, and post-graduation jobs (full time jobs and part time jobs, remote, hybrid, and on-site).  Employers of all kinds will participate—private and public, large and small, and a variety of services and practice areas. Learn more about the employers registered to be on campus HERE.

The first 250 students to register for and attend the Career Fair will receive an embossed Stetson Law padfolio.  The padfolio will be handed to you at check-in.

If you plan to offer your resume to employers, you should plan to review your resume with a coach from the Office of Career and Professional Development, either via email or a short virtual or in-person conference.  You can find resume templates and tips in the Document Library on Symplicity.

Business, Business Casual, or Whatever are the dress of the day.  We’d all rather you participated than avoid the opportunity because you didn’t dress for it.

We’ll be giving away 50 $10 tickets for the Food Truck Event happening at the same time; stay tuned for details.

Even if you don’t know exactly what you want to do, participate, and ask your questions of our employer guests.  You don’t have to give a resume to every table, but you can if you want to.  You don’t even have to bring a resume; you are welcome to come to the Career fair to ask your questions.

You don’t have to come at the beginning of the event, and you don’t have to stay for the whole event.  You can come and go as you please!
