This announcement is for students applying for the Fall 2026 In-House Counsel Externship Program. On Friday, April 10 (at noon), we will host a virtual meet & greet to allow students who applied for the Fall 2026 In-House Counsel Externship program to meet some of the supervising attorneys in the program. After the externship application period closes, students applying for the in-house counsel externship program will be asked to complete a survey indicating which placements most interest them. The meet & greet provides an opportunity to get to know more about the placements. While not all placements will participate, and not all student applicants will be able to attend, we hope that this allows many of the students and placements to get to know each other. SLR Student Article Publication Solicitation
Stetson Law Review is looking for student articles to publish in its forthcoming issues! This is an opportunity to submit your completed manuscripts to Stetson Law Review’s Student Article Publication Committee, which reviews and selects student article submissions for publication. Student articles or manuscripts written for a seminar class, an independent research project, or a law review writing credit are all eligible for submission. Though works of any length are eligible, submissions less than thirty pages or lacking compliance with relevant citation manuals will typically not be selected for publication. If you are interested, please send your completed student articles to [email protected] with the subject line “Student Article Publication Submission.” The deadline for submission is April 28th at 11:59pm. Florida Supreme Court Fellows Program
The Florida Supreme Court (FSC) Fellows Program (Program) provides law students a unique opportunity to learn about the operation of Florida’s highest court and gain experience as future lawyers and leaders in their communities. The one-semester Program is designed to engage students with hands-on work experience that cannot be obtained in a classroom setting. The Program offers students the ability to apply acquired legal knowledge to the work of the judicial branch, and also affords the opportunity to network and learn from a multitude of state court system professionals. The Program is designed for students who have an interest in the court system, clerkships, or appellate practice, and who wish to broaden their knowledge through dialogue and exchange with participants in those systems.

Savannah Smith Named the 2026 Stetson Law Review Spring Scholarship Luncheon Presenter
Savannah Smith, class of 2027, has been selected to present her article, “PullingthePlug on the Universal Injunction: RevivingEquityAfter Trump v. CASA,” which comprehensively analyzes the Supreme Court’s decision on universal injunctions in Trump v. CASA, traces its departure from the original public meaning of equity, and proposes reforms necessary to restore effective equitable relief.

Professor Bhandari is seeking a Teaching Assistant for pay or credit, for his Summer 2026 Criminal Procedure – Investigation class that will meet online on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:15pm– 9:15pm. Responsibilities include attending classes, supporting students as needed, and supporting the professor with assignments and class preparation (20 hours).
