Mentoring/Tutoring at Boca Ciega High School

We have several opportunities at Boca Ciega that can really make a difference in the life of our students:

  • Mentoring (will resume after winter break ends – January 9):
  • Sessions are held Monday through Thursday from 10:15-10:45am or 11:50 – 12:20 (student lunch hours).
  • Most mentors come weekly, but some alternate between in-person and virtual (we have a mentoring app)
  • Two programs:  Lunch Pals and Take Stock in Children (TSIC requires the student to comply with certain criteria (e.g., behavior, attendance, GPA)).
  • All Mentors need to:
  1. TSIC mentors have 2 more steps because it includes a college scholarship funded by the Pinellas Education Foundation.
  1. Complete the TSIC Mentor Application (additional info required by the Pinellas Education Foundation, which funds this program)
