Congratulations, Dispute Resolution Board Energy Law Negotiation Team!

For the first time ever, Stetson Law’s Dispute Resolution Board has won the Energy Law Negotiation Competition sponsored by South Texas College of Law.  This is truly historic for us.  Having double-checked the archives, we have never advanced in this competition before, much less won the whole thing.  There were schools participating that have concentrations in energy law, and Dispute Resolution Board members Andrew Zacherl (3L) and Selina Nadeau (2L)  bested them.  They went into the final rounds seeded third, having won five of six ballots in the preliminary rounds, and emerged from finals as champions.  Andrew and Selina, your colleagues on the Dispute Resolution Board and I knew how impressive you were when we watched the dress rehearsal last Monday; congratulations to you!  This was the culmination of Andrew’s distinguished work on the DR board, and a truly auspicious beginning for Selina, who was competing for Stetson for the first time.  Congratulations, and a special thanks to Coach Bill Greiner.
