Criminal Law Practice Panel – Tomorrow, September 16, 2025 – Noon in the Great Hall
Explore the practice of criminal law! Join the Office of Career and Professional Development and the first-year Criminal Law Faculty for a special opportunity to hear insight and experiences from attorneys who are practicing in the field of criminal law today. In this program our panelists will share their stories and will discuss the moments that helped shape their careers. Even if you attended the presentation with District Attorney Larry Krasner, this panel is designed to offer unique perspectives on criminal practice in Florida, private practice and white collar crime, and juvenile law and its overlap with the criminal justice system.
Panelists include:
- Assistant State Attorney
- Public Defender – State
- Private Practice Criminal Defense – focus on white collar crime
Gain a better understanding of careers in criminal law, learn about the pathways to these positions, and understand the breadth of experiences you might have.
Lunch from Jimmy Johns will be provided, including traditional sub sandwiches, vegetarian sandwiches and wraps, and gluten free (and dairy free) “unwiches” wrapped in lettuce.
This event is for Stetson students, faculty, and staff only.
