DISASTER LAW PANEL: THE EFFECTS OF DISASTERS ON VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES

On Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Noon in Classroom A  there will be a panel discussion on the effects of disasters on vulnerable communities. Our panel will consist of Professor Cerniglia, Professor Lopez, and Dr. Coraggio, from the Community Foundation. Lunch will be served.   If you are interested in non-profit work or disaster law, this will help provide you with insight on how these areas intersect, not only with each other, but with every area of law. The discussion will include a report on a simulation of what would happen if St. Petersburg was hit by a disastrous hurricane…..how would the nonprofit community respond to meet the needs of our community??  Please RSVP on engage.
