Earn Legal Pro Bono Hours During National Pro Bono Week
Attorneys and law students across the country will be joining the National Pro Bono Celebration from October 22-28, 2023. The ABA Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service launched this important initiative because of the increasing need for vital pro bono services to help low-income individuals and non-profit groups.
To celebrate National Pro Bono Week, Bay Area Legal Services (BALS) will be hosting a series of clinics throughout the week of October 22. BALS is currently seeking 10-15 law student volunteers for each of the clinics listed below. As a law student, volunteering at a legal clinic is a unique opportunity for you to gain practical experience, engage with real-world issues, collaborate with attorneys, and make a positive impact on the community.
To express interest in volunteering for one or both of the clinics listed below, please email Stephanie Storke, Assistant Director of Public Interest Careers and Pro Bono, at [email protected]. Please note in your email if you have one of the desired preferences listed below.
