Equal Justice Works Rural Summer Legal Corps Application Now Open!
The Rural Summer Legal Corps is a collaboration between Equal Justice Works and Legal Services Corporation (LSC) that connects public interest law students with LSC-funded civil legal aid organizations nationwide to address critical legal issues facing rural communities.
This year, 50 Student Fellows will be hosted by organizations across the United States. Each Student Fellow will spend 8-10 weeks working on a uniquely designed community project at their host organization. The student will develop valuable skills and gain hands-on experience by providing direct legal services, engaging in community outreach and education, and building capacity at their host organization through resource development and training sessions. Students earn $7,000 for working 300 hours during the summer of 2025.
