Equal Justice Works – Summer Fellowship Applications Now Open

EJW’s summer programs provide students with opportunities to gain hands-on legal experience and support a community or cause they are passionate about. Students who successfully serve in one of the programs below earn $7,000 for their service. Applications for the Rural Summer Legal Corps and Crime Victims Advocacy Program Student Fellowship will be accepted until February 13, 2024.

2024 RURAL SUMMER LEGAL CORPS

The Rural Summer Legal Corps is a collaboration between Equal Justice Works and Legal Services Corporation that will connect 50 students with LSC-funded legal aid organizations nationwide to address critical legal issues facing rural communities.

2024 CRIME VICTIMS ADVOCACY PROGRAM

The Crime Victims Advocacy Program is mobilizing a cohort of law students to increase access to legal aid for survivors of crime, particularly in underserved BIPOC communities.

2024 DISASTER RESILIENCE PROGRAM

The Disaster Resilience Program places law students at legal services organizations where they gain exposure to strategic policy and advocacy, legal disaster preparedness, and recovery work. The application for this program will open soon.
