Michelle Jennings will be speaking to the Organization via Teams on Wednesday, October 5 at 6:00 pm. Michelle will be discussing voter registration in Florida, how candidates are funded, current legislation that particular candidates support, etc…  Just to name a few qualifications, Michelle served on the Board of Directors for the NY chapter of Interfaith Power and Light for many years where she lobbied both in Albany, NY and on Capitol Hill for Climate Change legislation. In 2003, she testified against Media Consolidation in front of the FCC at Columbia University. In 2004, she hosted a fundraiser for John Kerry to advance the Democratic Primary. John Kerry came to her home and they raised $40,000 for his campaign. Michelle has been an activist for over the last twenty years, both in New York and most recently, in Florida.
