Guardian ad Litem Lunch & Learn
Join Child Advocates of Stetson Law (CASL) for our Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Lunch & Learn on October 6! This event is designed to introduce students to the GAL Program, a unique opportunity for law students to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children.
At this session, you will:
-
Learn how to become a certified Guardian ad Litem volunteer,
-
Get information on how to begin earning your introductory volunteer hours,
-
Hear directly from GAL representatives about the program’s impact and training requirements, and
-
Discover how volunteering as a GAL can build advocacy skills and provide meaningful courtroom experience while still in law school.
Lunch will be provided. This event also satisfies the initial informational meeting requirement for those interested in becoming GAL volunteers.
