Join AALSA, the Office of Diversity Collaboration and Inclusion, and the SBA Wellness Committee for a lantern festival to end your semester! As a part of Health and Wellness Week, AALSA invites Stetson students and their guests to come create lanterns, enjoy good food, and release them into the Stetson Law Pool.

Lantern festivals and light are used in many Asian cultures to celebrate the welcoming of a new year. To promote peace, healing, and strength. You write your wishes/hopes/dreams onto the lanterns and release them into the water. You can also write something you want to release. It is all about inviting in peace. Come release your stress and bring good wishes for finals!

Additionally, from November 6th-November 13th we will be doing a necessities drive to help the Lealman and Asian Neighborhood Family Center, which runs a food pantry to help families with immediate hunger. They are currently running low on food supplies, so please join us in bringing in food to donate to their food pantry in exchange for pro bono hours. 3 items = 1 hour of pro bono, 6 items = 2 hours of pro bono, 9 items = 3 hours of pro bono. You cannot exceed 3 hours of pro bono. Please drop off items in Student Affairs and email [email protected] a picture of you clearly donating the items.
