Lambda Legal Society, Professor Adams, the Stetson Democrats, AALSA, DLSA, PALS, Child Advocates of Stetson Law, and the Anti-Trafficking Coalition are proud to sponsor a poetry event for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. We will have a short poetry reading, an interactive soji-style prompt and a space for reflection; the Stetson Democrats will be presenting on intersectional statistics of DV within our Florida community, PALS and DLSA will also have prepared presentations and pamphlets with resources in place to support survivors . The purpose of this event is to create an engaging, safe, student-focused space as we talk about hard issues that affect everyone regardless of their background. We will be serving pizza, brownies, a variety of NA drinks, as well as providing gluten and dairy free options. Hope to see you there!
