Dr. Mario Garrett (Professor of Gerontology, San Diego State University) will be presenting on his research about how the healthcare industry is profiteering off of end-of-life care and treatment. Attorney Aaron M. Swift will also be present to discuss the consumer advocacy aspect. Elder Law Society members and other attendees will be able to ask questions and participate in discussion following the presentation.
