Pick a person you know (or a luncheon speaker from this semester) who you think exemplifies one of SLDC’s six leadership pillars.  Our leadership pillars are: problem solving, management, service, team-building, communication or community.  Explain how the attributes and actions of the person you choose embody that pillar.  Please write a 1-2 page paper to explain, and submit the paper by the due date below to Hannah Klonowski at [email protected].

This paper is due by noon (12 p.m.) on November 17, 2022.  All individuals who submit an essay will receive 1 leadership credit for their participation.  One individual will be selected by the Committee as our essay “winner” and will receive 2 leadership credits.  The winner will be selected based on their adherence to the prompt, creativity, and understanding of the SLDC pillars.

*NOTE: if you are graduating this semester, this essay contest will serve as your Capstone essay to meet the requirements for the Leadership Certificate.
