Hispanic Bar Association (HBA) and Immigration Law Student Association (ILSA) are teaming up with Bay Area Legal Services (BALS) to collaborate on a pro bono opportunity for Stetson Law students. We wish to help develop Spanish-speaking client help days for Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month and see if this can be continued afterwards on designated day(s) throughout each semester to increase outreach to our local Hispanic/Latinx community.

If you are a Spanish-speaking Stetson Law student interested in participating to obtain LEGAL pro bono hours please RSVP on Engage!

This event will take place on Friday, October 14 from 10 am – 2 pm at the Edgecomb Courthouse in Tampa. The clinic will be operating out of the Judicial Conference Room on the 6^th Floor of the George Edgecomb Courthouse (800 E. Twiggs St. Tampa, FL 33602).

*** You can park in the Twiggs Street Garage (901 E Twiggs St, Tampa, FL 33602). This is the closest parking garage to the courthouse. BALS will reimburse for parking, so please keep your receipts. At the end of the month, David Gomez/Jena Hudson will collect all your parking receipts and send them to their fiscal department to issue a check for the total amount spent on parking. If you pay using a debit or credit card, you could send a screenshot of your statements or transaction activity showing you paid for parking.
