Lambda will defer to whatever event description ACS uses in coordination with their national org for the published event description.) We plan to present an overview of books that have been historically banned in the public school systems and their libraries. The list will include books involving religion, race, and LGTBQ+ issues. We also plan to discuss current legislation in place in Florida and what book banning could mean for our future.
