Lambda Legal Society, Elder Law Society, and SJA are excited to co-host “Stayin’ Alive: Spousal Post-Mortem Rights in Florida.” We will discuss the disparities existing in the intersection between the elder and LGTBQ+ community, specifically relating to post-mortem rights, and how we can work to bridge those gaps as attorneys. Students will hear from a trust and estates attorney TBA specializing in x area. Professor Adams will also be available to answer questions about property law as it relates to LGBTQ+ spouses and other issues that should be considered when marginalized communities are creating their estate plan.
