In June, the United States Supreme Court issued a landmark decision that determined that the U.S. Constitution does not confer the right to an abortion. Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization is arguably the most controversial decision in recent years, and it is both far-reaching and unique. Join Professor Lou Virelli and Carmen Johnson for lunch on September 6 in the Mann Lounge to hear more about the state of the law before Dobbs, the changes Dobbs effected, and ways we might talk about the decision in our role as law students and community leaders.
