Fall 2023 OCR Bidding NOW OPEN

Fall 2024 OCR BIDDING IS NOW OPEN. Bidding deadlines are rolling depending on interview date and are as early as JUNE 30TH. Bidding deadlines are rolling based on interview dates. Please pay close attention to the bidding deadline for each employer.

The opportunities presented are once-in-a-legal-career and should not be ignored or dismissed; they are customarily the primary process through which many of these employers hire entry level lawyers (often before graduation from law school). Preparation and exploration—both necessary steps—begin now. Here are the next steps towards participation in the Fall Recruitment Program:

1. Review the Stetson Law Recruitment Program (OCR) Toolkit for the detailed overview and important definitions and facts.

2. Meet with a coach from the Office of Career and Professional Development to:

a. discuss your priorities and plan your strategy;

b. review your resume and cover letter;

c. If you don’t yet have a coach, choose anyone you like, and if you do have a coach, but you want a different one, reach out to whomever you’d like to meet with. Best practice would be to email a copy of your documents in Word when you reach out. Find us all HERE.

3. Update your resume. Add your planned or ongoing summer job, academic, or other learning activities. If you are still seeking summer opportunities, review the Job Postings along with pro bono project listings on Symplicity. If you need help, reach out to your chosen coach.
