Fob James Law Firm Law School Scholarship Contest – $1000 – Deadline: December 15, 2025

Fob James wants to hear from law students about the challenges they’ve dealt with and how that’s impacted who they are today.

Essay Overview

They are asking students to write a 300-400 word essay about the following: Describe how you plan on giving back to your community once you become a lawyer.

They want law students to explain how they plan on helping their community with their law degree; and their experiences in law school that motivated them to do so.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be enrolled or accepted into an ABA-accredited law school in the United States as of the fall 2025 semester.

Deadline

Applications and essay must be submitted before December 15, 2025; and
The winner of the scholarship will be notified by email no later than December 30, 2025.
They will also post the winner on this page and on social media

Scholarship Reward

The winner of the contest will receive a $1,000 scholarship to put towards their law school tuition costs.
