FosterPower – Legal Pro Bono Opportunity
FosterPower is a movement to improve the lives and futures for youth in foster care by creating access to information on their benefits, protections, and legal rights. FosterPower started out as a directed research project by attorney Taylor Sartor with the Social Justice Advocacy Concentration, and has grown into a statewide and national movement. FosterPower is the first app and website in the country to contain information about the law for youth in foster care. Attorney Taylor Sartor, Creator and Legal Director of FosterPower, is seeking law students to complete pro bono legal research to update sections of content. Please send a short paragraph of interest and resume to Taylor Sartor at [email protected] to be considered. Research will consist of checking citations of sections and updating the law as needed.
