I.T. Announcement & Scheduled Maintenance (5/19 7PM – 8AM 5/20)
Announcement
Starting May 23rd through June 10th, Information Technology will be working on continued upgrades/maintenance of our systems. This is the time of the year when big upgrades take place, we ask for your patience and support as we strive to continue to improve our environment. Work will commence at 7:00 p.m., we will make every effort to keep interruptions to a bare minimum and are conscientious about Bar prep and students that live on campus. We plan to upgrade our internet, wireless environment, network, and server environments.
Maintenance
Gulfport and Tampa Firewall Updates
We will be performing an upgrade to our internet service. On-campus users may experience sporadic access to the internet as we reconfigure our equipment.
Server Updates
Upgrading servers to improve security and support. No outages are anticipated.
Updating Virtualization environment, no outages are anticipated.
Network and Wireless Updates
You will experience sporadic access to the Internet while on campus during our maintenance window.
Office phones might not work as expected while we work on the network. If you have an emergency, please dial 911 from your mobile phone.
Gulfport Storage System Upgrade
Although no outages are expected, we anticipate that some systems may not perform as expected during our maintenance.
Printing System Upgrade
Our Paper-Cut print server will be upgraded to the latest version and security.
