IMPORTANT Notes on Operating System Updates

Examplify: ExamSoft has recently announced that, while they are assessing compatibility with macOS 13 Ventura, it is not currently supported.

We would like to remind you that, as a best practice, while it is safe to install regular updates, operating system updates are NOT recommended until after the exam period.  If Examplify is not supported by your laptop’s operating system, you will have to handwrite your exams.

We encourage you to verify which operating systems are supported on the Examplify Minimum System Requirements page.  You may visit our ExamSoft FAQ page for additional information.

Microsoft Defender for Endpoint: Although both Windows and Mac operating systems support Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, the Ventura OS for Mac does not currently support it.  If you are using Microsoft Defender, we recommend that you do not update your Mac OS to Ventura until an official announcement is made about compatibility.
