InclusiveSkies proudly offers the Bessie Coleman Scholarship, created to support law students and recent graduates who are dedicated to advancing equity, inclusion, and diversity within aviation law.

📌 Scholarship Overview

Award:

  • Up to $2,500 toward bar preparation courses/expenses
  • Paid travel + accommodations to attend a Lawyer-Pilot Bar Association Conference
  • One-year student membership to the Lawyer-Pilot Bar Association

Eligibility:

  • Current law students enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school OR recent graduates preparing for the bar
  • Demonstrated interest in aviation law
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Preference given to applicants with financial need

Application Requirements:

  • 500–1,000 word personal statement
  • Resume
  • Unofficial law school transcript
  • Proof of bar exam registration or intent to register
  • Letter of recommendation

Deadline: January 15
Scholarship recipients are announced by the end of January, ahead of the bar exam period.
