Interested in earning extra money on campus?

Apply to be a Lifeguard with the Student Affairs Office.  If you have a certification, a certification that has expired our would like to become a Certified Lifeguard this is the position for you.   The Office of Student Affairs will pay for your recertification or new certification for this position.  In exchange for paying for your courses, we ask that you commit to two semesters (don’t have to be consecutive) working as a Lifeguard.  The American Red Cross holds monthly certification and re-certification courses. The Student Affairs Lifeguard will interact with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and special guests at the pool.  The Lifeguard is responsible for enforcing the rules and policies of the pool.  The Lifeguard is expected to promote an atmosphere of professionalism, be courteous and helpful, serve as a resource person for those who utilize the facilities.
